As a mountaineer and avid traveler, I recently returned to Hotel Claila in Francavilla Al Mare for a peaceful retreat from my usual trekking adventures. Stepping into this charming hotel, I was once again struck by its warm ambiance and welcoming staff. Checking in was seamless, and I was soon settled into a clean, cozy room. One of my favorite parts of staying here was the breakfast experience, which I eagerly anticipated each morning. Enjoying breakfast in the elegant hall was a true delight - the spread was varied, featuring homemade cakes that transported me straight back to my childhood in Kathmandu. Paired with freshly brewed coffee, it set the perfect tone for my days spent exploring the nearby beach and local eateries. The hotel's proximity to the shoreline is a significant advantage, making it easy to indulge in the local gelateria after a sun-soaked day. While the mattress was a tad firmer than I usually prefer, it didn't detract from my overall experience. In short, Hotel Claila offers an authentic taste of Italy, with culinary innovation and comfort worthy of revisiting during my future travels.
